StackVibe Community Guidelines
Welcome to StackVibe — a space built for campus life, real conversations, and shared experiences.
These Community Guidelines exist to keep StackVibe safe, respectful, and useful for everyone. By using the platform, you agree to follow these rules.
1. Be Respectful
Treat every user with basic human respect.
Do:
- Disagree without insulting
- Give people the benefit of the doubt
- Report problems instead of fighting in the comments
Don’t:
- Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate anyone
- Attack people based on their identity, background, appearance, or beliefs
- Post personal attacks, name-calling, or targeted abuse
2. Be Honest
StackVibe is built for real campus conversations, not lies and drama.
Do:
- Clearly mark opinions, jokes, satire, or unconfirmed information
- Correct yourself if you share something that later turns out to be wrong
- Use the rumor-check features responsibly
Don’t:
- Spread information you know is false and present it as fact
- Use rumors or allegations to damage someone’s reputation
- Create fake stories or manipulate posts to mislead the community
3. Protect Privacy
Respect people’s personal boundaries.
Do:
- Ask for permission before sharing someone’s private information or photos
- Keep private conversations private
Don’t:
- Share someone’s phone number, address, private messages, or personal details without consent
- Post intimate or sensitive content of others without clear permission
- Doxx or encourage others to contact someone against their will
4. Keep It Safe & Legal
StackVibe must remain a safe space.
Don’t post or share:
- Content that promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activities
- Scams, phishing links, or anything designed to steal information or money
- Sexually explicit content involving minors (this will result in immediate permanent ban)
- Content that exploits, endangers, or abuses anyone
5. No Spam or Manipulation
Keep the platform genuine.
Don’t:
- Create multiple accounts to boost likes, XP, or leaderboard positions
- Spam the same content repeatedly
- Use bots or automated tools without permission
- Artificially inflate engagement or manipulate rankings
6. Messaging, Calls & Stories
Private spaces still have rules.
- Communicate respectfully in DMs, voice notes, and calls
- Do not send unwanted intimate content or pressure anyone
- Do not use private chats to harass, scam, or threaten others
- Remember: even temporary stories can be screenshotted or saved by others
7. AI Features & Rumor Checks
AI tools on StackVibe are helpers, not absolute truth.
- Do not treat AI results as final proof
- Do not use AI or rumor-check features to harass or falsely accuse people
- Always verify important information yourself
8. What Happens When Rules Are Broken
We take reports seriously. Depending on the severity, we may:
- Remove content
- Issue a warning
- Temporarily restrict your account
- Permanently ban your account for serious or repeated violations
We may also preserve information when required by law or to protect users.
9. How to Report
If you see something that breaks these guidelines:
- Use the in-app report button, or

Include as much detail as possible (links, screenshots, usernames, and what happened).
10. Final Note
StackVibe works best when everyone contributes positively.
Be kind. Be honest. Be responsible.
