You must not impersonate another person, create fraudulent or multiple accounts to abuse the platform, or misrepresent your identity.
3. Acceptable Use
StackVibe is intended to support respectful communication, campus engagement, and responsible information sharing.
You agree not to use StackVibe to:
- Harass, threaten, bully, intimidate, or target another person.
- Publish defamatory statements, knowingly false accusations, or misleading information intended to harm someone.
- Share private, confidential, or personally identifying information without proper authorization.
- Engage in hate speech, discrimination, or targeted abuse.
- Distribute scams, phishing links, malware, or fraudulent content.
- Upload illegal, exploitative, or otherwise prohibited content.

We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, subject to applicable law and our other policies.
4. User-Generated Content
StackVibe allows users to create, upload, share, and interact with content, including text posts, images, videos, voice notes, comments, stories, and other supported media.
You retain ownership of the content you create, subject to any rights belonging to other people.
By submitting content to StackVibe, you grant CollinsTech a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, process, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and provide the platform’s features.
This license lasts only as long as necessary for those purposes, subject to legitimate retention requirements, backups, and applicable law. It does not transfer ownership of your content to StackVibe.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and share your content.
You must not upload content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates privacy, or otherwise breaches applicable law.
You are solely responsible for the content you publish and the consequences of sharing it.
5. Campus News, Gist, and Rumor Checks
StackVibe provides a space for campus discussions, community updates, and rumor-checking activities.
Users should clearly distinguish between verified facts, personal opinions, allegations, speculation, satire, and unconfirmed reports.
By using these features, you agree that:
- You will not knowingly present false information as verified fact.
- You will not use rumors to harass, blackmail, threaten, or damage another person’s reputation.
- You will respect people’s privacy and avoid publishing sensitive personal information without a lawful basis.
- You will correct or remove misleading information when reasonably appropriate.
- You will not manipulate rumor-checking features to mislead the community.
Important: A rumor-checking result, community report, automated summary, or AI-generated assessment is not necessarily proof that a claim is true or false. Users should independently verify important information using reliable sources.
StackVibe does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-submitted report or AI-generated result.
6. AI-Powered Features
StackVibe may provide AI-assisted features, including summarization, content analysis, and rumor or claim assessment.
AI-generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or incorrect conclusions.
You agree not to treat AI-generated results as definitive proof, professional advice, or a substitute for independent verification.
We may modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue AI features when necessary for technical, operational, security, or legal reasons.
Content submitted to AI features may be processed by service providers supporting those features. Such processing is explained in our Privacy Policy.
7. Private Messages, Voice Notes, Calls, and Stories
StackVibe may offer private messaging, media sharing, voice notes, voice calls, video calls, and temporary stories.
You agree to:
- Communicate respectfully with other users.
- Obtain appropriate consent before recording or redistributing private communications.
- Avoid sharing intimate, confidential, or sensitive material without proper authorization.
- Respect other users’ privacy and communication preferences.
- Refrain from using calls, messages, or stories to facilitate harassment, fraud, threats, or illegal activities.
Private communications should not be assumed to have end-to-end encryption unless StackVibe explicitly confirms that protection for the relevant feature.
Temporary stories may remain in backups or other systems for a limited period after disappearing from public view, where technically necessary or legally required.
Users should understand that recipients may copy, capture, record, or redistribute content they can access.
8. Following, Likes, Comments, XP, and Leaderboards
StackVibe may provide social engagement features, including following users, likes, comments, experience points (XP), badges, and leaderboards.
You must not manipulate these systems through fake accounts, automated engagement, fraud, or other deceptive practices.
We may adjust engagement calculations, award criteria, leaderboard rankings, and reward eligibility to maintain platform integrity.
XP, badges, and leaderboard positions do not have monetary value and are not financial assets unless expressly stated in separate official terms.
9. Rewards, Quests, and Promotions
StackVibe may introduce community quests, challenges, promotional activities, or rewards distributed through private messages or other designated channels.
Where rewards are offered, eligibility requirements, submission deadlines, verification procedures, reward quantities, and redemption conditions may apply.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise:
- Completing a quest does not guarantee a reward until eligibility and completion have been verified.
- Rewards may be limited and subject to availability.
- Fraudulent entries, duplicate submissions, or manipulated evidence may result in disqualification.
- Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash unless the specific promotion permits it.
- We may suspend or cancel a promotion where reasonably necessary because of fraud, technical problems, legal requirements, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Any special promotion may have additional terms that apply alongside these Terms.
10. Reporting, Moderation, and Enforcement
Users may report content or behavior that violates these Terms through available reporting channels or by contacting the platform team.
We may review reports and take proportionate action, including:
- Removing or restricting content.
- Limiting access to specific features.
- Issuing warnings.
- Temporarily suspending accounts.
- Permanently terminating accounts for serious or repeated violations.
- Preserving or disclosing information when legally required.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may provide an explanation of moderation decisions and a way to request a review.
We do not guarantee that every report will result in removal or that all harmful content will be detected immediately.
11. Intellectual Property
StackVibe's branding, logos, design elements, original software, and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit protected platform materials except as permitted by law or with the required authorization.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of StackVibe's intellectual property to you.
If you believe content on StackVibe infringes your intellectual property rights, contact the platform team with sufficient information to identify the material and substantiate your complaint.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of StackVibe is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
We process information necessary to provide accounts, posts, messaging, security, moderation, analytics, and other platform features, subject to our published privacy practices and applicable law.
Our Privacy Policy explains:
- What information we collect.
- How information is used and stored.
- Whether and how information is shared with service providers.
- How cookies or similar technologies are used, where applicable.
- How users can exercise applicable privacy rights.
- How users can contact us about privacy concerns.
You should not publish information that you do not have permission or a lawful basis to share.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
StackVibe may depend on or link to third-party services, including hosting providers, databases, authentication systems, AI providers, and communication infrastructure.
Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
To the extent permitted by law, StackVibe is not responsible for the independent content, policies, availability, or actions of third-party services. This does not exclude any responsibility that applicable law requires us to retain.
14. Service Availability and Changes
We aim to maintain a reliable platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available service.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, technical, operational, or legal reasons.
We will provide notice of material changes or interruptions where reasonably practicable and required by applicable law.
15. Disclaimers
StackVibe is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee that:
- All user-generated content is accurate or trustworthy.
- All reported rumors can be conclusively verified.
- AI-generated assessments are correct.
- Every user is who they claim to be.
- The platform will always be available, secure, or free from errors.
Users should independently verify important claims and exercise appropriate caution when interacting with other users.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a guarantee, duty, or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CollinsTech and the StackVibe team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of the platform, including losses resulting from inaccurate user-generated content, service interruptions, or unauthorized conduct by other users.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
17. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using StackVibe at any time and may request account deletion through available account settings or the official support channel.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address serious violations, security risks, fraud, unlawful activity, or other legitimate operational or legal concerns.
Upon account deletion, some information may remain temporarily in backups or be retained where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or protect platform security. Our Privacy Policy explains applicable retention periods and procedures.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, applicable liability limitations, and dispute-related provisions, will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory consumer protection, privacy, or other legal rights that apply to you.
Any dispute arising from these Terms should first be addressed through good-faith discussions with the StackVibe team.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought before a court or other competent dispute-resolution body with appropriate jurisdiction.
Nothing in this section prevents a user from exercising a statutory right or bringing a claim before a competent authority.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms as StackVibe develops, introduces new features, or responds to legal and security requirements.
The updated version will be published on the platform with a revised effective date.
Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before material changes take effect.
Continued use of StackVibe after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you disagree with the changes, you should stop using the affected services.
